Dear Sir or Madam,

On behalf of the Urology Week team I would like to update you on how you can join Urology Week 2020 in your country.
Urology Week will be held from 21-25 September 2020 throughout all of Europe. This is an annual initiative of the EAU which brings together national urological societies, urology practitioners, urology nurses, patients and their families, and politicians to create awareness of urological conditions among the general public. It is the ideal opportunity to educate your fellow countrymen about the importance of urological diseases and to take symptoms seriously by talking to a urologist in time. The main message we carry is: Don’t suffer in silence. Improve your quality of life with the help of your urologist.

This year’s Urology Week campaign will focus on sexual dysfunction and Erectile Dysfunction. The Urology Week website is the hub where all information can be found and downloaded.

How can you contribute?
There are various ways in which you can participate and promote Urology Week:

-Translate this year’s posters into your language and share them
-Share your Urology Week events with us, we will add them to the event calendar
-Place the Urology Week banner (in the attachment) on your website
-Add the Urology Week logo (in the attachment) to your email signature
-Engage via social media. Use #urologyweek and #EAU on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram together with your posts to help spread the word
-Inform your members about this week and the options to join.

International Media Campaign
For the second time, the EAU has conducted an international survey to assess the general knowledge on urology. We have asked over 3,000 members of the public from France, Germany, and the United Kingdom 10 questions on their knowledge and experiences of sexual dysfunction. If you are interested in conducting a survey yourself at national level, we would be happy to send you the questions for translation.
The outcome of this survey will be part of an international media campaign. The press release will be available in different languages. If you would like to receive the press release to reach out to your local media, do let us know. We might already have translated it into your language. There will also be an infographic with the main results in various formats to be downloaded for media purposes.
Should you have any questions or need further assistance, please feel free to contact me at this address.
Thank you in advance for your kind support and I look forward to your reply.
All the best,
